WeatherCoats | NJ Weather: Flooding & Thunderstorms Today - Friday

More severe weather is headed our way for the next few days.  A Flash Flood WARNING has been issued by the National Weather Service for Northern New Jersey and a Severe Thunderstorm WATCH issued for Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem Counties in South Jersey.  For tonight and into tomorrow, the stalled-out Low Pressure System will be inching its way closer to our area.  Although most large areas of rain will begin to subside by then, scattered thunderstorms and rain bands will be the main threat from tonight into Friday.

In other news, a confirmed EF-0 Tornado touched down in Northern Philadelphia earlier today.  No significant damage has been reported.
